Styles Of Best Man Wedding Speeches
When I searched the internet for “best man wedding speeches”, I found that there were all different styles of speeches and toasts. So, I did a little more research to try and determine which one might be good for what I believed to be my particular style of speech giving.
Bottom line, I’m a pretty serious guy. Actually, I’m quite the geek. I’m more of the intellectual and really not much of a clown. Since the groom is pretty serious, as well, I thought that a light weight heartfelt speech was probably in order.
I have to admit that I don’t know the bride as well as I should. She is a lot funnier than us and laughs all the time. I knew that I needed to find some sort of middle ground when toasting the bride.

So, I ended up recounting a funny story about the night that Nick decided that it was about time that I met this wonderful woman that was going to be his wife. Of course, she didn’t have a clue that this plot was about to be hatched!
Since my best friend, the groom, and I had known each other for so long we had been there to see each other through some pretty tough times. I decided to mention this fact in my best man wedding speech and to relay it in such a way that the bride would know what a great friend her new husband had been to me.
Worked like a charm!
