Being somewhat thrifty (or just cheap by some people’s standards), I wondered how cheaply I could pull off these wedding speeches and toasts. Searching for “free best man speeches” did turn up a few free templates and best man speech examples which may have been adequate for some, but I wanted more variety and in-depth instructions along with the resources.
I also did find a few sites on the internet with some helpful tips on how to make a wedding speech or how to present it to the guests, but nothing with any “meat”. I did find some interesting statistics, though, that showed that more people are afraid of public speaking then they are of far greater fears. Many folks actual have “panic attacks” over giving public speeches. Another good reason to be super prepared!

I think the answer here is whether you want to spend the time and effort looking for free wedding speeches online or actually getting right down to writing your speech and toasts. Another issue was whether you can really make any use of them, because I found a lot of crap out there.
In reality, it was some of the better wedding speech sites that I found, while charging a small fee, provided great examples of best man wedding speeches in a fill-in-the-blank format that really proved priceless to me.
I felt that this was one of the more important speeches that I would probably give in my life (how many times do you really have to get up in front of a crowd and give a speech?) and it was worth a few dollars to ensure that it was really top notch. So, try the free best man speeches if you must, but let me assure you that your time will be better spent on actual speech preparation with a “secret” weapon like I found!
